A George V sterling silver classically Georgian style shaped tapering column small candlestick 5 5/8 inches high with a nozzle diameter for candles 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) in diameter. It is fully hallmarked on the base with the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor mark for Birmingham, the date letter "n" for 1912-1913 and sponsor's mark HSM for Herbert Scott Murdoch, which was first entered in March 1912 he operated from 57 St Paul's Square, Birmingham in the county of Warwick, England.

This lovely antique silver candlestick is in good antique condition with a small dent to the top rim and a mark to the base and some minor marking commensurate with age and use. Please see the images. The candlestick measures 5 5/8" (14.2 cm) high and has a base diameter of 2 11/16" (6.7 cm). The filled silver candle weighs 111 grammes unpacked.

It would make a nice addition to any dinner table, mantelpiece or side table. A nice antique George V sterling silver candlestick in the neo-classical style dating from the early 20th century.
