Antique 18th century Dutch Delft Tile Blue and White Harbour Seascape - hand painted tin glazed earthenware blue & white decoration 13 cm square
A late 18th century Dutch Delft tile made from tin glazed earthenware with blue and white decoration. It has a hand painted scene of three small sailing boats setting out to sea from a small harbour with a number of buildings including houses, a warehouse and church set amongst tall trees in the foreground of the image. The scene is painted within two circular bands with "ox head" horn corner decoration.
In good antique condition with a small amount of chipping to the edges no cracks nor restoration. It has been previously bonded to a wall. Please see the images.
