Antique Art Deco Ruby Red Glass and Filigree Beads Necklace Czechoslovakia Mark

Antique ruby red glass beads necklace, 16 inches or 41 cm long and marked Czechoslovakia at the clasp ring.

The necklace dates from the 1920s - 30s, the art deco period, and is a lovely eample of its kind. The glass beads are a beautiful rich red and are round, tubular, and conical in shape. They are strung on gold coloured wire and there are two round filigree brass beads for added decorative detail. The beads are good quality and were possibly produced by the Neiger Brothers.

The necklace is in good condition and ready to wear with just one of the thin tubular beads having been broken at some time and glued back together. Not obvious unless viewing very closely. The necklace fastens securely with a bolt ring clasp.
