Bohemian Ruby Flashed Glass Pair Vases Lily of The Valley Design Antique c 1880

 Antique Bohemian ruby flashed glass vases dating from around 1880.  Here we have a lovely pair of glass vases made in the the then Bohemia around the latter part of the 19th century. The vases stand 6 inches high and have a baluster shape. They have been hand blown and have rough pontils on the base. There is the amount of wear on the base that you would expect to see with antique glassware. One vase is 149mm high the other 153mm.

The etched design shows as ruby with a frosted clear background and features Lily of The Valley flowers. The vases weigh 249 g and they are in very good condition with just one tiny chip to the rim of one vase.
