Antique Chinese Porcelain Bottle vase Famille Verte decoration Peacocks and Peonies - 12 inches high - the base marked Qianlong nian zhi Qing 19th C

A Chinese export porcelain, minyao, a globular bodied long narrow necked bottle vase decorated with hand painted design with two peacocks perched on rockwork amongst foliage, under a flowering prunus tree and with a peony bush, in overglaze Famille Verte enamels.  Dating from the 19th century but in the style of the reign of the Emperor Qianlong 乾隆 (1736-95) during the Qing dynasty 清代.

The base has a diamond diaper border and the neck is decorated with key fret and stylised cash or floral pattern with tassel border. The base is marked with a hand painted underglaze blue Chinese four character apocryphal mark - 乾隆年製  - Qianlong nian zhi - Qianlong period make.

The bottle vase stands 12 inches (30.5 cm) high and the body diameter is 5 5/16 inches (13.5 cm) and weighs 817 grams unpacked.

It is in very good antique condition. There is a small chip to the inner foot rim and has a slight lean to one side from firing. It displays well and this is a most attractive item to add to any collection of antique Chinese porcelain.
