Chinese Porcelain Cylindrical Teapot HP Blue Qianlong 乾隆 Qing 清代 Antique c 1780
A beautiful example of antique Chinese export porcelain. This cylindrical teapot with domed lid and a short curved spout dates from around 1780, the reign of the Emperor Qianlong 乾隆 (1736-95) the Qing dynasty 清代.
There is a narrow short curved spout and a simple ear shaped loop handle.
The teapot stands approximately 6 inches high and the base diameter is 3 1/8 inches and is 6 inches across the handle and spout. It weighs 350g unpacked.
Good antique condition, the spout has been broken and neatly re-glued, handle is fritted, an old small chip repair to the foot rim, a crack at the top rim, re-glued chip under lid rim. Please see the images. Despite the minor damage it displays well and this is a most attractive item to add to a collection.
