Antique Dolls House Miniature Cupid and Stag Ormolu Lamp Erhard & Sohne c 1900

A very interesting and unusual item of antique metalware - a dolls house miniature lamp or decorative ornament. It is beautifully made of gilded bronze or brass - ormolu - and shows a cherub riding a stag with a decorative pierced canopy over. This round canopy has blue and white stitched cotton fringing. 

We think this item may have been produced by the renowned Austrian factory of Erhard and Sohne (Erhard and Sons) whose dolls house pieces are highly prized and collectable. It stands 3 inches high and the base has a diameter of 1 1/8th inch. It weighs 51g and is in good, original condition. A great item to add to any collection.
