Antique Dresden Porcelain Ink Well Helena Wolfsohn AR Mark 19th C

An antique, hard paste Dresden porcelain inkwell hand painted with scenes of courting couples after Watteau. The base carries the AR ( Augustus Rex) mark normally associated with Meissen porcelain however, this ink well was made by the factory of Helena Wolfsohn, of Schössergasse 5, in Dresden, Saxony, Germany in the mid to late 19th century prior to 1875.

The ink well has been decorated with a sea green polychrome hand painted enamels and a rococo style scrolling border and a gilded border decoration. 

The ink well is in fair antique condition. There are is a crack the base and one side. Please see the images.
