Antique Edwardian Coalport Porcelain Muffin Dish Indian Tree Pattern c 1910

An antique porcelain Indian Tree pattern transfer printed and hand coloured muffin dish made by the renowned factory of Coalport.

This very attractive muffin dish has printed green backstamps on both base and lid. This mark was used between 1881 -1939 and I would date this piece to c 1910. The  base has a scalloped rim with a gilded geometric design border. 

The muffin dish stands approx 12cm high and has a diameter of 22 cm or 8 3/4 inches. It weighs 714g. It is in very good condition and is a very nice piece for display and use.
