Antique English Porcelain Cabinet Plate Painted Fruit pattern 122 Pink c 1850
An antique English porcelain cabinet plate or dessert service plate decorated with a pink border ground and a central design of hand painted fruit with additional gilded decoration. It dates to the early Victorian period circa 1850.
This very attractive plate has been beautifully hand painted with a central design of apples, pears, grapes and red currants all sat on a bed of vine leaves. There is a ribbon like band of small gilded dots around the pink band. The overall effect is most appealing and this is delightful item for display.
The 9 inches diameter plate has the hand painted pattern number 122 with no other makers marks.
The plate weighs 347 grammes and is in good antique condition with no cracks chips nor restoration, just a little rubbing to the gilded rim and some scratching to the pink border enamel. There is a small frit mark to the front. Please see the images. A great item to add to any collection of antique plates or antique Victorian English porcelain.
