Here we have a lovely, highly decorative cabinet plate made of hard paste porcelain, probably French in the Sevres style Dating from around 1880, this beautiful plate is 9 inches in diameter.
Here we have a lovely, highly decorative cabinet plate made of hard paste porcelain, probably French in the Sevres style Dating from around 1880, this beautiful plate is 9 inches in diameter.
It has a bleu celeste border on which are sprigs of flowers including wild roses and honeysuckle with two butterflies in flight. In the centre, on a white ground is a very pretty bouquet of flowers including pink roses, fuschia and forget me not or cornflowers. It is unmarked so unable to attribute the plate to any particular maker.
It weighs 403g and is in very good condition. This is a lovely decorative plate for display and perfect to add to any collection.
