Antique Georgian Mahogany Corkscrew with Bristle Dust Brush Direct Pull c 1830
A great looking antique turned mahogany corkscrew dating from around 1830. This antique direct pull corkscrew dates from the Georgian / William IV period and has an integral bristle brush, used for cleaning dust from the wax seal prior to pulling. The corkscrew has possibly had a ring on the top but this is missing. The corkscrew is in good antique condition with a couple of minor nicks to the turned detail. It is a very nice example for display and use.
