Antique Miles Mason Porcelain Bread and Butter Plate c 1810 Blue and White Print

A decorative and collectable c 1810s porcelain plate with transfer printed willow pattern decoration in pale blue.The square shaped, scalloped edge plate with integral handles is 9 1/4 inches wide and has the printed faux Chinese script or cypher mark of Miles Mason on the base.

The plate has gilded bands and there is some rubbing to them, commensurate with age and use. It would have originally formed part of a service and would have been used for serving bread and butter or cake. It weighs 477g. It is a very nice piece for display or use and perfect to add to any collection of Miles Mason or blue and white transfer ware.
