Antique Regency Bucket Shaped Rummer Panel and Fine Diamond Cut Blade Knop 1820
A very attractive and good quality Regency period footed rummer glass dating from around 1820.
The glass has a bucket shaped bowl and the lower part has panel cuts. Above this is a border of fine diamond cuts. The short stem has a knife edge or blade knop. It has been hand blown and has a ground off pontil on the base. There is the amount of wear on the base that you would expect to see with an antique item of glassware for the table.
The glass stands 4 3/4 inches high and has a base of 2 5/8ths inches. It weighs 252g and is in very good condition throughout.
This is a lovely antique glass to add to any collection and a great piece for display and use.
