Antique Silver Charles Horner Pendant Necklace Blue Enamel and Blister Pearl with Freshwater Pearl dropper hallmarked 925 Chester 1912
Antique Silver Charles Horner Pendant Necklace Blue Enamel and Blister Pearl with Freshwater Pearl dropper hallmarked 925 Chester 1912
Beautiful antique art nouveau Charles Horner silver and enamel pendant necklace, fully hallmarked on the back with a Chester hallmark for 1912-3. It also bears the maker's monogam, C H.
The necklace features a circular pendant with ornate rim. The centre is set with a blister pearl and surrounding it is cornflower blue guilloche enamel. There is a freshwater pearl dropper suspended from the 2.6 cm diameter pendant.
The pendant is attached at two points to a belcher link chain and this fastens very securely with a push-in barrel type clasp. The necklace is 17 1/2 inches or 44.5 cms long.
The necklace is in very good condition throughout with no damage to the enamel. A lovely example of Charles Horner jewellery and a great quality piece as you would expect from this renowned and highly collected Halifax, Yorkshire maker.
This is a great item to add to any collection. Please see my other Horner necklace also listed for sale along with other vintage and antique jewellery listings.
