Antique Silver & Enamel Charles Horner Dropper Necklace Pink Rose Spray on Pale Blue Guilloche Enamel circa 1915
Antique Silver & Enamel Charles Horner Dropper Necklace Pink Rose Spray on Pale Blue Guilloche Enamel circa 1915
Beautiful antique Edwardian - Art Deco Charles Horner silver and enamel dropper necklace, marked on the back with the distinctive CH monogram and Sterling Silver. It dates from c 1910 - 1920.
The necklace features a shield shaped pendant with a pale blue guilloche oval inset with a pink rose spray. Suspended from this is a plain silver bar and from this in turn, a diamond shaped dropper with another oval insert with matching blue guilloche and a pink rose. Overall, the pendant section is just over 1 3/4 inches or 4.5 cm.
The necklace is approx 38 cm or 15 inches long so sits fairly high on the neck. The belcher link chain fastens very securely with a push-in barrel type clasp. It weighs 3 grammes unpacked.
The necklace is in very good condition throughout with no damage to the enamel. A lovely example of Charles Horner jewellery and a great quality piece as you would expect from this renowned and highly collected Halifax, Yorkshire maker.
This is a great item to add to any collection. Please see my other Horner necklace also listed for sale along with other vintage and antique jewellery listings.
