Antique Victorian Aesthetic Movement Silver Brooch Oval Shape Flowers c 1870
A very pretty and wearable example of Victorian aesthetic movement jewellery dating from around 1870.
This lovely oval shaped brooch is very well made and features a low relief applied design of flowers, leaves and scrolls on a textured background and with little decorative balls all around the rim. The brooch is made of silver, unmarked but tests as such and the long pin fastens very securely to a c-shaped clasp.
It weighs 5.6g and is in very good condition, ready to wear.
