A very attractive and usable Victorian period finger held oil lamp with a cranberry or ruby glass lamp and a removable clear glass chimney.
The lamp has a brass burner with wick and the adjuster is stamped English Made and 3/4 in W - signifying the width of the wick. The lamp dates from around 1880 - 1900 and has the amount of wear on the base that you would expect to see with an antique piece of glassware.
The lamp stands just over 12 inches high and has a base diameter of approx 4 1/4 inches. It weighs 481 g and is in good order but does have a few chips around the top of the chimney.
