A Wedgwood pearl body hexagonal shaped dessert dish or plate with a hand painted border pattern, in the cavetto, depicting what we think are Weigela flowers. The border is of a pale lilac colour and has been lined all round with black enamel. There are three evenly spaced Weigela trunks with young stems covered in purple and yellow flowers. .
From the factory originally owned by Josiah Wedgwood, Wedgwood of Etruria, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire England. This is a very decorative and collectable piece of antique pearlware pottery dating from the early 19th century circa 1825 - in the Georgian period.
The dish is in good antique condition with a little loss to the enamel three small chips to the underside and a crack to the rim. Please see the images.
