Here we have a very attractive art nouveau style peacock trailed art glass candlestick or candleholder. The candlestick is reminiscent of pieces produced during the art nouveau period by Stuart Crystal. I have also seen similar green trailed glass items attributed to Powell for Whitefriars.
Here we have a very attractive art nouveau style peacock trailed art glass candlestick or candleholder. The candlestick is reminiscent of pieces produced during the art nouveau period by Stuart Crystal. I have also seen similar green trailed glass items attributed to Powell for Whitefriars.
It is a very stylish item and stands 7 1/4 inches high. The green foot has a diameter of 3 inches. It fits a standard sized candle and has a wide drip tray. The candlestick is a well made piece of hand blown glassware and weighs 232g.
