Arts and Crafts Style Silver and Haematite Brooch Possibly Bernard Instone

A very attractive and wearable silver diamond shaped brooch or pin set with a large lustrous haematite stone in the arts and crafts style. It is very reminiscent of the work of arts and crafts/ art deco era designer, Bernard Instone. 

The brooch is 4 cm wide/ 1 5/8ths inches and has a pretty design featuring leaves and berries around the claw set oval stone. It is in good condition and ready to wear but there is a crack through the outer rim of the frame of  the brooch - lower left hand side when worn. This is not at all obvious when worn and does not affect the stability of the item at all but I mention it for completeness. The brooch is not marked for silver but tests as such.
