An attractive Chinese export porcelain tea bowl and saucer decorated in the Imari style with underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron red enamel and gilding, dating from the second quarter of the Eighteenth Century (Yongzheng to early Qianlong). The bowl and saucer are both decorated with a Chinese scroll with flowers and two large butterflies. Each have a trellis and flower scroll border on the internal rims.
This hard paste porcelain tea bowl and saucer dating to circa 1725 - 1740, from period of the the reign of the Yongzheng or Emperor Qianlong 乾隆 (1736-95) the Qing dynasty 清代.
They are in good antique condition, Neither has restoration The saucer has a star crack to the base and one to the rim. There is a rim fritting with some losses to each piece. Rubbing to the gilding on both. The tea bowl has a firing tear to the side of the bowl and one to the rim which has some chipped losses. Please see the images.
