A late Georgian gilded glass scent bottle in faceted Bristol Blue glass or cobalt blue with a faceted target shaped stopper. This highly collectable and very decorative, good quality, early 19th Century scent or perfume bottle has eight cut panels around the lower part of the bottle that are continued up the waisted stem. These facets are extensively and ornately gilded with a design featuring leaves, butterflies and birds.
It is in good antique condition, A couple of tiny chips to outer edge of neck rim, minor chipping the facets of bottle and stopper, rubbing to gilded decor, commensurate with age and use.
It measures approx 4 3/4 inches (12cm) high and weighs 248 g unpacked.
