Continental Porcelain Cornucopia Vase Painted Flowers Antique circa 1890

A lovely antique Victorian European continental porcelain vase with an ornate, decorative cornucopia shape. The vase dates from around 1890. It is heavily gilded and has a hand painted poly-chrome spray of flowers down the central section.

The hard paste white bodied vase has no marks as is often the case with items dating from this period but was probably produced by one of the German factories of the day. It is a good quality piece and in very good condition with just a little rubbing to the gilding, commensurate with age. A lovely display item that would make a great focal point for a mantelpiece, side table etc.
