Craftsman Made Silver Fly Fishing Rod Necklace Engraved Salmon on Clasp Unique Vintage

A superb and unique item of vintage craftsman made jewellery. This is a beautifully detailed, realistically modelled fly fishing rod necklace made of 925 silver - unmarked but tests as such.

The detail is excellent and accurate in every way - the chain attached to the rod is even wrapped around the reel in true imitation of the line on a real fishing rod and it runs through the five guides to the tip of the rod.

The necklace measures 19 3/4 inches long or 50 cms and the oval shaped clasp is engraved with a leaping salmon. The ring fastener hook fasten slips neatly and securely into place on a hook at the back of the oval disc. It is in excellent condition and comes boxed.The box has a clever addition to the lid so that when it is opened the catch with the engraved salmon on it hangs from the back of the lid.
