Derby porcelain campana vase beautifully hand painted polychrome panel depicting a basket of flowers, antique circa 1820.

This lovely antique English porcelain vase that has been extensively gilded with classical acanthus leaf scrolls and has two gilded serpent scroll handles. The base is marked with the hand painted red crowned crossed baton mark over D (used 1792- 1825) and also the painter or pattern number 43. There is a hand painted green painters number 69 on the base.

The vase was produced by the Derby Porcelain company of Nottingham road works, Derby, Derbyshire, England.

The high footed campana vase stands 8 inches high and 6 5/8ths inches diameter. It weighs 1.386 kg.

Condition: It is in good  presentable antique condition with a small filled chip to the rim, some glaze crazing, discolouration inside the bowl of the vase, wear to the gilding, some of which has been retouched. One of the handles has an old repair.

This is a very attractive item for display and perfect for a mantle shelf sidetable or a sideboard.
