Edwardian Fan Cut Glass Small Celery Vase Hobnail Strawberry Cut Antique c 1910
A very attractive antique clear glass small celery vase, beautifully and expertly cut with fan or saw tooth rim, hobnail and strawberry cut diamonds and fan cuts to the bottom. The base has been star cut. This lovely antique vase is cut in a Georgian style, but as the metal is too bright for early 19th century glass, it dates from the Edwardian period circa 1910.
The celery vase stands 4 3/16 inches (10.4cm) high, is 3 3/16 inches (8.1 cm) diameter at the rim and weighs 265 grammes unpacked. It is in excellent antique condition with some inevitable miniscule chips to the edges of some of the cutting and mossing to the base commensurate with age and use.
This is a truly lovely antique Edwardian small celery vase for display and use and would make a very elegant addition to any dinner table or side table.
