Green Opaque Uranium Glass Baluster Vase Antique Victorian Circa 1870
A green opaque Uranium glass mantle vase dating from the Victorian period around 1870, probably made in the Stourbridge in England.
This very pretty classical baluster shaped vase which has no other decoration than the four gilded bands on the rim, neck, foot and base. It is made of uranium glass which flouresces under ultra violet light (black light) Please see image number 12 It is an highly decorative and very collectable antique.
It is very good antique condition, no damage nor restoration, just some wear to the gilding and two marks to the glass at one side. A beautiful and highly collectable antique uranium glass vase.
