A very large cut lead crystal glass celery vase with everted and scalloped rim with a panel cut bucket shaped bowl, on a ball knopped stem and plain star cut foot . This vase dates from around 1860, the early to mid Victorian period and is made of hand blown glass that has been beautifully cut on the bowl, rim, stem and star cut base.
A very attractive and lovely quality vase is in excellent antique condition with one chip to the rim and some small marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. There are some minor tooling marks and inclusion within the metal. It has a very slight lean to one side. The item rings beautifully when flicked with a finger.
