Old Paris Porcelain Pedestal Footed Cup Saucer Serpent Handle Antique c 1845

Antique French Old Paris or Vieux Paris porcelain pedestal footed tea cup and saucer, with a distinctive serpent or snake handle and anthemion lower terminal. Decorated with gilding in a stylised floral and palmette pattern with scrolls and leaves. Both the cup and saucer are bright white hard paste continental porcelain, are unmarked and date to circa 1845. 

This is a great item for any collector of Continental French, Old Paris, Mid 19th century, Victorian period, Louis Philippe I or July Monarchy porcelain.

Both the cup and saucer are in very good antique condition with no chips, cracks nor restoration, there is wear to the gilding particularly on the inner rims.  Please see the images.
