Pair Antique Bell Bowl Jelly Glass Panel Cut and Faceted Foot c 1830 William IV
Offered by JockJen Antiques:
Pair Antique William IV Wine Glasses Bucket Bowl Blade Knop c 1830
Here we have a very attractive and good quality pair of William IV period jelly glasses dating from around 1830.
The glasses have been hand blown and have bell shaped bowls and very decorative cut and scalloped or serrated rims. The bowls have ten panel cuts and the bases of the glasses are also cut around the rims. The glasses have the distinctive slightly greyish tone that typifies antique glass. They are 4 1/4 inches high and the bases are 2 1/4 inches. Together they weigh 306g. There is a little damage, commensurate with age and use - a small chip below the rim of one and the other has minor chips around the footrim. Both have very minor nicks to the facets of the rims.
This is a great pair of jelly glasses to add to any collection and decorative items for display or use. Please see my other antique glassware for the table.
