Pair Keswick School of Industrial Arts Dishes Arts Crafts Copper Repousse c 1900

A great-looking pair of antique arts and crafts period copper coasters or small round dishes, hand crafted and stamped with the KSIA mark of Keswick School of Industrial Arts. The round dishes are 4 inches in diameter and both have the distinctive KSIA mark near the rim.

They have an attractive repousse and chased design of a Tudor rose. They date from around 1900 and together weigh 155g. The Keswick School of Industrial Arts is a renowned and highly collected name within the British Arts and Crafts movement. It was founded in 1884 by Canon and Mrs Rawnsley in Keswick, Cumbria (then Cumberland).

The coasters are in very good condition and would make a great addition to any collection of antique arts and crafts items or copper ware.
