Pink Striped Cased Art Glass Vases Clear Glass Applied Feet Webb's c 1880
A striped pink cased art glass lobed bulb shaped vase, with a pinched neck, sat on six drawn clear glass feet, This is an antique Victorian period vase from the late nineteenth century dating from circa 1880, possibly made by Webb's of Stourbridge. A lovely and very decorative vase made of cased glass - white on the inside and with a striped pink glass overlay with a further clear glass outer layer and applied clear glass feet.
The vase will have been manufactured as a double balloon shaped body but has been deliberately cut and ground to form the wide rimmed neck.
The vase is in good antique condition, there are some tiny nicks to the rim. There are some bubble inclusions within the body. Please see the images.
The vase stands 4 3/8 inches high and is approximately 4 inches in diameter at the widest point. It weighs 335g unpacked.
This is a pretty vase and is very decorative for display or to add to any collection of Victorian period art glass.
