Seiji Kaisha - Pure Water Company

Fukaumi Suminosuke & his brother Takeji, Tsuji Katsuzo and Tezuka Kamenosuke left  Ezaiemon Fukagawa at the Koransha - The Scented Orchid company in order to form a rival porcelain company which was called the Seiji Kaisha or the Pure Water Company.  With the intention of producing Japanese Export porcelain for the markets in America and Europe.  The Seiji Kaisha Company had a modern factory which produced highly competitive porcelain and dinner wares for the Western markets they operated from 1879 until 1897. The factory was in Arita in the former Hizen Province, now Saga Prefecture, of Northwestern Kyūshū island of Japan.
