An attractive antique porcelain London shape creamer or milk jug decorated with gilded floriate pattern number 1149, featuring fronded leaves and stylised flowers on a white hybrid hard paste porcelain ground. The gilt pattern number 1149 is painted underneath. There is gilded lining or banding around the rim. The oblong creamer with a high loop handle was made by Thomas Rose of Coalport and dates to around 1812 during the Regency period of the later George IV. It was made in Coalport, Shropshire, England when George III was King but, the Prince Regent was on the throne in the early 19th century during the late Georgian era.
This lovely antique Thomas Rose Coalport porcelain creamer or milk jug is in good antique condition. There is some very minor rubbing to the gilding, no chips, cracks nor restoration.
This is a great antique item to add to any collection of antique creamers, milk jugs or pitchers, Thomas Rose Coalport porcelain, English Regency period tea ware or late Georgian era Coalport porcelain items.
